Answer
Results from the 9525 Degassed Cationic Conductivity Panel provides 'real time' results, similar to any standard conductivity probe, but because the panel must degas the sample there is some lag time between sample introduction to the panel and final results.  The number one thing to consider when thinking about the timing of results is the transport time.  This will be based on distance from the sampling point to the analyzer and the flow of the sample from the inlet of the analyzer to the final measuring point.  The flow rate of that sample will need to be considered to figure this out.  Some estimations are listed below
Transport Time - based upon 150 cc/min sample flow.
  • Panel inlet to SC cell        < 5 seconds
  • SC cell to CC Cell               1.3 minutes
  • CC cell to DCC cell            2.3 minutes more  (or 3.6 minutes from Panel in to DCC cell)
