Introduction
Product Update for distribution to Global subscribers.
Applies to the Hach Claros brands.

Hach is excited to announce the latest updates, improvements and added features for Claros™, the Water Intelligence System. The following sections highlight deployment and what to expect in the latest features and fixes. For more information on Claros and Claros-enabled products, please visit hach.com/claros.

Date of Deployment:
October 27th, 2020

Time for Deployment
  • Deployment for US production server will start at 3:00 AM EDT / 2:00 AM CDT / 1:00 AM MDT and will last a maximum of three hours.
  • Deployment for the EU production server will start at 17:00 CET / 11:00 EDT / 9:00 MDP and will last a maximum of three hours.

What to Expect: While the applications are updating, you may notice a slowdown or service interruption. If this happens, please log out and then sign back in to the application. For Mobile Sensor Management (MSM) customers, there will be no interruption to data that is sent to the SCADA system. Features added with this new release may not become available until the controller firmware has been updated to the latest version.

Other Updates:

Web App:
No action is required, as the update is applied by Hach.
 
Android Native App: Update the app in the Google Play Store. Note this may happen automatically if Auto Update is enabled for the Claros App.

iOS Native App:

The iOS update is typically available several days after Hach deploys the app as it goes thru an Apple approval process. To check to see if the update is available, go to the App Store on your device, tap the Updates Icon and click the UPDATE button next to the Claros App.

Instrument Management: What's New

  • Mobile Sensor Management is now available on the sc200 via the Claros Connector, which allows customers to receive the benefits of MSM with existing Claros enabled sensors. Please click here for more information about what sensors are compatible with MSM.
  • • Customers can now receive in-app or email notifications when measurement values exceed user-selected limits.* This feature allows users to take the appropriate action when sensor measurements exceed or fall below a set threshold.
    *This feature is a beta release and will be available only to a limited number of users. Please contact clarosfeedback@hach.com for more information.
  • Measurements from the 1720E Turbidimeter are now available to view in MSM.

Data Management: What's New

  • We are developing new data management features and are looking for customers to beta test the new functionality. If you are interested, please contact clarosfeedback@hach.com

Process Management: What's New

  • Additional RTC modules now available in Claros MSM. These modules are: SND, C/N/P, DN. When connected, these RTC modules appear as connected devices through the Claros MSM user interface, providing secure remote access to RTC data and settings on any device. This functionality compliments the Claros MSM access already available for our other RTC modules: RTC-P, N, N/DN, SRT, ST and SD
