Nitratax Calibration Steps:
 
Zero Calibration:
  1. Menu > Sensor Setup > Calibrate.
  2. Close the hole on the back of the measuring path of 2 & 5 mm sensors with a sticky tape so that filled water cannot flow out.
  3. Select OFFSET ADJUST and confirm.
  4. FILL IN AQUA DEST - fill the measuring path with distilled water, then press enter to continue.
  5. CONC X.X mg/L NO3, DEXT X.X mE will display. Press enter when the reading is stable.
  6. The controller will bring you to a Wipe/Calibrate/Complete menu. Choose WIPE. The controller will return to the CONC X.X mg/L NO3, DEXT X.X mE display in offset adjust.
  7. Add more distilled water to the measuring path, and then press enter again when the reading is stable.
  8. The controller will bring you to Wipe/Calibrate/Complete menu. Select CALIBRATE.
  9. Complete Offset X.X mE is displayed. Press enter to confirm.
  10.  CONC X.X mg/L NO3, DEXT X.X mE is should display and then press enter when the reading is stable. The DEXT should be getting closer to 0.
  11.  The controller will bring you to Wipe/Calibrate/Complete. Select COMPLETE.
Calibration with a Standard:
  1. Select 1 SAMPLE CAL.
  2. Fill the measuring path with the standard and press enter (the sensor will wipe).
  3. When CONC X.X mg/L NO3, DEXT X.X mE is displayed, press enter when the reading is stable.
  4. It will bring you to a Wipe/Calibrate/Complete menu. Select Calibrate.
  5. Adjust the mg/L NO3 value to the standard value. Press enter.
  6. The controller will show COMPLETE FACTOR and the factor will be adjusted automatically.
  7. Again, press enter when stable.
  8. The controller will bring you to Wipe/Calibrate/Complete. Select COMPLETE.
