Question
Is it a quality issue if the color of Hydrazine Reagent 179032 has a very light yellow color?
Summary
Quality of H ydrazine Reagent 179032.
Answer
The description in the SDS just says yellow. It does not say anything about a shade of yellow. So a "light yellow" reagent does not necessarily indicate a defect.

The sensitivity of the method is 4 µg/L, the sample of 0.005 mg/L (5 µg/L) is very close to the bottom of that range and is likely giving inconsistent results because it is so close to the sensitivity of that test. Verifying the method with the standard,  is how we would suggest that a customer verifies the function of the reagent.
