On the APA 6000 HR Hardness analyzer, standards 1 and 2 are used together to perform a multiple-point calibration. Standard 1 is a 0 mg/L as CaCO 3 sodium carbonate solution and standard 2 is a 1000 mg/L as CaCO 3 sodium carbonate solution. The default calibration standard values that are created by the analyzer are 0 mg/L, 100 mg/L, 500 mg/L, and 1000 mg/L.
