Why is it that the DR900 Multiparameter Portable Colorimeter cannot perform the LeadTrak™ Method when the Pocket Colorimeter™ II, Lead Test (LeadTrak®) can?

Answer
Although it is true that most parameters that can be performed using a Pocket Colorimeter™ II, the LeadTrak™ Method is the exception.

The Pocket Colorimeter™ II, Lead Test (LeadTrak®) (Product # 5870021) is the only colorimeter that Hach sells that uses a wavelength of 476 nm. The DR900 cannot use this wavelength (See also: What wavelengths does the DR900 have?). Because of this, the LeadTrak™ Method can only be performed on either this Pocket Colorimeter™ II or using a Spectrophotometer.
