-INTRODUCTION:
A new software update (V1.07) for the LICO 690 and LICO 620 instruments is available on the website for download and on the instruments’ mobile site.
 

-KEY MESSAGE POINTS:
The new software update (V1.07) for the LICO 690 and LICO 620 instruments consist of
  • An update of the instruments’ Operating System to Kernel Version 9 to support new features and new USB printers.
  • An implementation of a new color scale called “APHA color” to the list of selectable color numbers.
  • Adding a new feature to LAN/Ethernet functionality to send multiple color scales to a LAN/Network folder for a single reading (same as selected for paper printouts).  

-PRODUCT INFORMATION:
The new software V1.07 for the LICO 690 and LICO 620 instruments update of the instruments OS to Version 9 to support an encrypted file system, new features and driver update to support new USB printers.
 
The new software V1.07 will also add a new color scale called “APHA color” to the list of selectable color numbers. The APHA color scale is similar to the Hazen/PtCo color scale and will give the same calculated value but in the range of 0 to 9.9 with one decimal digit and with a maximum color value of APHA 500.
 
The new software V1.07 will also add a new feature to LAN/Ethernet functionality to send multiple color scales to a LAN/Network folder for a single reading (same as selected for paper printouts). The user is now able to get multiple color numbers for a single sample measurement into a LIMS system, e.g. a Pharmacopoeia result together with a Hazen color, Gardner color and Yellowness index (all you can read).
For this, the same color numbers as selected in the UI for paper printouts will be send also to the LAN/Network folder in one file with separate lines for each color scale. The multiple color scales will have all the same sample name and date/time stamp and can be identified by this time stamp as one sample measurement.
