Question
Can the known concentrations of standards be changed in the Lachat Omnion software after the samples have already been run?
Summary
Changing standard concentrations post run
Answer
The concentrations of standards can be changed after the run is complete by using Edit Peak Items. Changing the concentrations of standards in the Sample tab of the Run Properties window can be helpful for future runs but will not impact the labelling of samples that have already been analyzed.

To use Edit Peak Items, the mouse cursor is placed over the standard to be changed and right-clicked to show a drop-down menu.

Edit Peak Items can be selected from this menu to open the Edit Peak Items window. From the Edit Peak Items window, the Concentration can be edited. Concentrations of samples cannot be edited and the field will be grayed out for samples as the sample concentrations are determined by the calibration, not entered by the user. The Accept button needs to be pressed to exit this window and accept the change.

Right-clicking within the channel data display (the window peaks are visible in) will reveal a drop-down menu. Choosing Rerun Peak Detection will reprocess the samples and standards with the new edited concentration(s) applied.
