Question
Can the Alkalinity application on the TitraLab® AT1000 be updated to use a 0.02 N titrant?
Summary
Changing the titrant concentration in the Alkalinity application on the TitraLab® AT1000.
Answer
Many customer that have lower level Alkalinity samples use 0.02 N HCl or H2SO4 as their titrant. This is sometimes a preference, and sometimes a requirement. The applications are set up by default to use 0.1 N titrant. It is possible to change the titrant concentration, and in some cases it is correct to do so. However, if this does need to be done please contact Hach Technical Support at 800-227-4224 ext 6125 so that they can walk through the process in making these changes.
