Answer
The ideal calibration of the 9586sc would be to calibrate in the sample by keeping the 9586sc sensor in the flow cell.  The reading would be calibrated to a secondary reference measurement of the sample hydrazine concentration.  A standard solution can be flowed through the panel, but it is important to ensure that the flow rate is within specification for the panel.  This is because the sample flow rate is a key factor for the accuracy of the sensor.  The measurement is directly proportional to the platinum electrode surface and to the amount of hydrazine molecule able to reach this surface per unit of time (in other words: sample flow rate).  Calibration conditions should reflect the exact measurement conditions for highest measurement accuracy.
