In Omnion, what does percent residual mean?
Percent (%) residual meaning
In Omnion, the percent residual is a measurement of the calibration accuracy at the known concentration. The percent residual is the percent difference between the peak area or peak height of the calibration at the known concentration, as well as the actual peak area or height of the calibration standard that shows in the calibration table. Usually, the calibration equation is an average fit of data from several standards. The percent residual is usually more than zero. The format of a percent residual is set fixed to one decimal place.
