Question
Can I use nitrogen or CO2 free air as a carrier gas for the BioTector?
Summary
BioTector carrier gas
Answer
No, the BioTector needs to use oxygen for it's oxidation because of the ozone generator technology. Using CO2 free or nitrogen gasses will pass all commissioning tests but the TOC span calibrations or online readings will be very low due to lack of oxidation. This is why the BioTector needs either compressed room air or an O2 generator to properly operate.
