Question
At about what concentrations are the Monochloramine and Free Ammonia SpecCheck Gel Secondary Standards?
Summary
Secondary standard concentrations.
Answer
Below are the approximate standard concentrations for the three standards included in SpecCheck Secondary Gel Standards Set for Monochloramine & Free Ammonia (Product # 2507500):
Monochloramine
Standard 1 is ~0.40 mg/L
Standard 2 is ~1.65 mg/L
Standard 3 is ~2.75 mg/L

Free Ammonia
Standard 1 is ~0.08 mg/L
Standard 2 is ~0.35 mg/L
Standard 3 is not applicable and does not have an expected value

The actual expected concentration for each standard will be specific to that lot of standard and what instrument the check is being done on. Please review the Certificate of Analysis that is included with the standard to get the actual expected result for each standard on the instrument that is being tested as well as the acceptable tolerance. For this set in particular there are additional notes regarding instrument and program versions that should be reviewed as well.
