Question
What does R less than M mean on a Nitratax?
Summary
- Dirty or stained windows, try cleaning (try cleaning with up to 5 percent HCL solution)
- Measuring gap not appropriate for sample conditions
- Service needed
Answer
R<M is a warning coming from your Nitratax sensor.  It can indicate that the windows are dirty or that the sensor is installed in a sample that has too much solids for the measuring gap.  If neither of these explain the issue, it means that the sensor needs to be serviced.
