It is possible to save a user program on a DR 3900 or DR 6000 spectrophotometer for single wavelength absorbance measurements.

The steps are given below:
  1. From the Main Menu, select "Single Wavelength"
  2. Select "Options"
  3. Select the lambda symbol (λ)
  4. Key in desired wavelength
  5. Select "OK"
  6. Select "Options" again
  7. Select "More..."
  8. Make any desired changes to "Concentration Factor", "Concentration Resolution", and "Reading Mode" (available only on the DR 6000).
  9. Select "Save as User Program"
  10. Key in desired program number
  11. Select "OK"
  12. Key in Program Name
  13. Select "OK"

To find the newly added User Program:
  1. From the Main Menu, select "User Programs"
  2. Select the desired program from the list
  3. Select "Start" to begin the program
