Question
Why do the SpecCheck vial lot numbers not match the lot number of the kit?
Summary
SpecCheck lot numbers for kit
Answer
The lot numbers are based off a Julian date.  The first number indicates the year of manufacturing. The last three digits are the date of creation; for the individual vials, this is the date the vial was produced.  For the kit, this is the day the kit was assembled. It is possible for the individual vials to be manufactured on different days than the kit was assembled. Please check the certificate that is included with the kit to verify which lots should be on the vials.
