Question
Is there a stand alone temperature sensor to use with an HQd meter?
Summary
Temperature sensor for HQd meter.
Answer
All IntelliCAL™ probes have built in temperature sensors regardless of parameter or sensor type, and temperature is displayed along with the other result. There are no sensors dedicated to temperature however. If temperature in particular needs to be measured, the CDC401 would be the recommended probe to use. It's temperature sensor has the largest surface area of any of the IntelliCAL™ probes, and as noted in the specification section on page one of it's user manual it has a temperature accuracy of ±0.3 °C (±0.54 °F) which is comparable to that of other stand alone digital thermistors.
