Answer
There are a few common problems that can make the QBD1200 autosampler not work. First, ensure that the autosampler is turned on before turning on the QBD1200 or the QBD will not find the autosampler. Second, there is a Peripheral Settings menu within the Setup menu that enables the autosampler. Ensure this is enabled.

Lastly, there are two ribbon cables in the top of the autosampler that can become unplugged when the sampler is moved or shipped. See the included picture.
