Answer
  1. Remove old/contaminated filling solution in the probe by tilting the solution back towards the filling hole, a pipet such as Pipet, Sterile, Transfer, 15/pk (Product # 2232512) may be used to remove the solution.
  2. Using a transfer pipette, add some deionized (DI) water, such as Water, Deionized, 100 mL (Product # 27242) to the probe through the filling hole.
  3. Shake the probe to rinse off the inside of the probe with the DI water.
  4. Use a transfer pipette to remove the DI water in the same way the filling solution was removed.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 two additional times.
  6. Shake the probe to rinse off the inside of probe of residual DI water with the filling solution.
  7. Remove this small amount of filling solution with a transfer pipette.
  8. Refill fully with fresh filling solution.
