Question
If a single sample contains both ozone and hydrogen peroxide, is there way to accurately test both parameters since they interfere with each other?
Summary
Sample contains both ozone and hydrogen peroxide
Answer
Any oxidizer that can oxidize iodine under acidic conditions will interfere in the hydrogen peroxide drop count titration kit.

Hydrogen peroxide will interfere with ozone, but we do not have data on the speed of this reaction.
Standard Methods indicates that this reaction is very slow – and that H2O2 doesn’t interfere in the ozone method if measurements are taken within 6 hours after reagent addition.
