Question
How is the heater set point changed on a Lachat inline module heater controller?
Summary
Instructions to change heater set point for current heater controllers used with Lachat Micro Dist blocks and inline sample prep modules.

Answer
1.  Setting the controller, heater (Product # 31201) Power on the unit. You will see two temperatures displayed. The upper temperature (PV) is the current temperature of the block. The lower temperature (SV) is the set point temperature for the block.

2.  Edit the set point temperature with the up and down arrows.
3.  Once the set point temperature is set where desired and the user is ready to heat up the block press the key to lock in the set point so that the block will start heating.

These instructions will not change the temperature on a QC8500 heater controller. For the QC8500 and QC8500S2 analyzers the temperature is controlled from within the Omnion software.
