Question
Is it possible to store a standard adjust on a bench top Spectrophotometer?
Summary
Bench top Spectrophotometer Standard Adjust save
Answer
A Hach DR3900 or DR6000 spectrophotometer will clear a standard adjust if the program is left and reentered. This is done on purpose to prevent the same standard adjust for different operators and lots of reagent when it isn't needed and potentially causing error.
To save a standard adjust, first apply the standard adjust in the standard Hach program. Once the standard adjust has been applied select options>more>save as user program. This will create a new program that has the curve copied from the original Hach program, but with the standard adjust applied. A name will need to be selected, so it might be recommended to add some sort of identifier that it is a standard adjust to the end of the name to show it is an adjusted program.
