Question
How long can a sample be stored before adding it to a BART™ test vial?
Summary
BART™ test sample holding time
Answer
When collecting samples, DBI (the manufacturer of the BART™ tests) states that the sample should not be held longer than 4 hours before addition to the BART™ test vial. It is also recommended that the sample should not be put on ice. Any cool sample should be brought to room temperature before introducing the sample into the BART™ test vial. This will help prevent air bubbles and/or foaming in the vials.
