Question
How are standard solutions for the SA1100 prepared?
Summary
SA1000 Standard solution preparation
Answer
To prepare standard solutions for the SA1100, obtain the following items:
Lead Standard 10 mg/L as Pb (NIST) Product # 2374820
Volumetric flasks - 1000 mL, 100 mL.
Pipets - 5 to 25 mL.
Accurately pipette 10 mL of the lead standard into a 1 L volumetric flask and dilute up to the 1 L  mark with deionized (DI) water. This creates a 100 μg/L standard.
To prepare a 15 μg/L lead test solution, accurately pipette 15 mL of the 100 μg/L standard into a 100 mL volumetric flask and fill to the mark with DI water.
