Question
What does the PAT700 TOC Analyzer 4-20 mA Bottle Mode actually do and what are the limitations?
Summary
PAT700 4-20 mA Bottle Mode
Answer
Enabling the Bottle Mode in the Analog 4-20 mA settings menu of the PAT700 TOC Analyzer will send the bottle results from the bottle ports or auto sampler to the 4-20 mA outputs of the instrument. The 4-20 mA will be updated after each sample, not after bottle completion and will not send bottle averages. If the Bottle Mode encounters an error or alarm, the outputs will not send a 22 mA signal even if this option is enabled in the 4-20 mA output settings. The 22 mA Output On Error is only for the online functions.
