Why would there be a chlorine reading with my DPD Chlorine reagents when there is no chlorine present?

Answer
The DPD reagents will react with any chemicals in the Halogen Group, as well as other oxidants such as Potassium Permanganate and Hydrogen Peroxide. Hach methods will provide a more complete list of interferences using DPD chemistry.
