Question
Is there a way to calibrate the analog outputs on the 5500sc analyzer?
Summary
5500sc analyzer analog output calibration
Answer
Yes, using the Keypad on the 5500 analyzer:
Press CAL button
Scroll to the OUTPUT CALIBRATION menu and press enter
Select OUTPUT 1, OUTPUT 2, OUTPUT 3  or OUTPUT 4 and press enter
Select CAL 4 mA and press enter

Connect a digital multimeter to the appropriate terminals (#3 in the below drawing).  Loop 1 is for OUTPUT 1, Loop 2 is for OUTPUT 2, etc

The number on the display is a digital number that translates to a 4 mA output (default number should be approximately +7822). The number displayed is directly proportional to the output generated by the 5500 (the higher the number - the higher the output).
The shaded number indicates the digit that can be adjusted. Using the right or left arrow you can select a different digit. Using the up and down arrows, adjust the selected number on the 5500 display until the multimeter measures 4.00 mA. When the multimeter reads 4.00 mA, press the enter key on the 5500 to save this setting.
Next, select CAL 20 mA and press enter
The number on the display is a digital number that translates to a 20.00 mA output (default number should be approximately +38582). The number displayed is directly proportional to the output generated by the 5500 (the higher the number - the higher the output).
The shaded number indicates the digit that can be adjusted. Using the right or left arrow you can select a different digit. Using the up and down arrows, adjust the selected number on the 5500 display until the multimeter measures 20.00 mA. When the multimeter reads 20.00 mA, press the enter key on the 5500 to save this setting.

These steps can be repeated for all 4 outputs as needed.
