Question
What happens to an LDO2 if the temperature is below 0° C?
Summary
LDO2sc Sensor and Temperature
Answer
The temperature range for the LDO2 sensor is 0-50° C . If the temperature is outside of that range the instrument is not guaranteed to function properly. When the sensor is operated outside of the temperature range, the values will be from a non-continuous realm. In other words, the numbers will be total nonsense and cannot simply be extrapolated based on readings inside the specified range. If you are at 2 ppm in 0° C water, your instrument value could be anything at -1° C. The temperature reading is accurate and will show from -5 to 55° C, so 5° above and 5° below the range of the instrument.
