Question
Why is my pH sensor slow to respond during calibration?
Summary
Differential or Combination pH Sensor Operation
Answer
When walking through a calibration of a pH sensor and it is very slow to respond, the normal procedure would be to clean the sensor tip, and perhaps change the salt bridge and cell solution on a differential sensor. If this does not make a difference, go through the configuration menu and check to see what is programmed for FILTER. If it has a value, that is the signal average time. Changing the value to zero will speed up sensor response.
