Why is there a hole in the side of the Compact Analyzer Drain Fitting on the CL17?
Summary
CL17 Installation
Answer
The Compact Analyzer Drain Fitting (Product # 5416300) has a hole drilled in it to prevent suction and as an air break for back pressure. Water will come out of this hole if the drain tubing has been plumbed to a drain and the customer doesn't have the required air gap on the drain or if their drain tubing is coiled up below the instrument and fills with water.
