Question
Is there any EPA or Standard Methods that are used in the APA6000 Ammonia/Monochloramine using the modified Phenate method?
Summary
APA6000 Regulation information.
Answer
The EPA does not regulate Monochloramine as a specific parameter in drinking water; therefore EPA does not have a regulated method. Hach does have a TNT plus Ammonia chemistry method that EPA deems as equivalent to phenate. However, the TNT plus Ammonia chemistry has not been adopted into the APA6000.
