Question
Is there an issue with using Merck DIPA bottles instead of Hach DIPA bottles?
Summary
924x Sodium Analyzer and Bottles
Answer
The Hach DIPA bottle has an O-ring at the mouth of the bottle while the Merck bottle does not. There should be no issues in using the DIPA bottle without the white collar on the top of the bottle. Isolation is provided by the O-ring located on the top connector where it also connects to the porous cartridge. This should be more than sufficient to assure appropriate tightness. The vent should be free of blockage in order for the conditioning effect to work properly.
