Question
How can samples be stored in the ethanol procedure in the enzymatic food analysis package on the DR 6000?
Summary
Storing ethanol samples for the DR 6000
Answer
Sample bottles must be closed and in a cool (fridge), dark place to avoid any degradation, they can be stored for 7 days or slightly longer.

However: if a sample contains bacteria (beer, wine, juice) metabolism will occur. So if sugar components are present, the alcohol concentration may change. These samples should be analyzed quickly. Once there is a certain alcohol level (15-20% in wine) bacteria are killed.
