Can anything be done when the power does not come on for the SL1000 Portable Parallel Analyzer™ (PPA)?

SL1000 Portable Parallel Analyzer™ (PPA) does not power on
Answer
 
First, make sure the battery has been charged (the unit can turn on during charging, depending on how charged it is). If the battery has been charged try holding down the power button for 20 seconds. If this powers it on, perform a restart through the instrument menu: MAIN MENU -> SETTINGS -> METER -> RESTART .

Additionally, if the version of the software on the SL1000 is earlier than version 3.0.0.1349 running a software update can often resolve this issue.
