When I insert a Chemkey® into a slot of the SL1000 Portable Parallel Analyzer™ (PPA) nothing happens. How do I resolve this?

Answer
If the barcode is not registered there is no alert to an error. The instrument needs to be restarted through the instrument menus. Go to the main menu -> settings -> meter -> restart.
