The ULR Silica program 645 (method 8282) allows for a reagent blank value to be entered into the spectrophotometer. The reagent blank is based on the reagent part number. See below for reagent blank options (as provided in the “before starting the test” section of the procedure). *Verify the accuracy of the ULR method using a 500ug/L standard solution. S5000 Silica Reagent 3, Molybdate, 2.9L (Product # 199503) = multiply reagent blank on label by 1.09
Molybdate 3 Reagent, 100mL (Product # 199532) = use the blank value on the bottle
Molybdate 3 Reagent, 1L (Product # 199553) = use the blank value on the bottle
