Is chlorine an interfere in nitrate cadmium reduction methods?
Summary
Chlorine interference in nitrate cadmium reduction methods

Chlorine is a strong oxidizing agent and can interfere in the cadmium reduction methods because it oxidizes the cadmium and compromises its effectiveness to reduce nitrate to nitrite.
