Question
What is the difference between continuous and push to read modes on the HQd meter?
Summary
HQd meter continuous and push to read modes
Answer
In the push to read mode a measurement is taken only when the read key is pressed. This is the default meter setting; in this mode power consumption is minimized and battery life prolonged. In the continuous read mode a measurement is taken twice per second, requiring continuous power. The meter will operate in continuous read mode for 12-hours on fresh batteries (86,400 measurements).
