Are there tips to improve reproducibility when using Dissolved Oxygen AccuVac® Ampules?
Reults of a dissolved oxygen AccuVac® test on the same sample are different
The most common problem in reproducibility when using the Dissolved Oxygen AccuVac® Ampules is interferences from atmospheric oxygen entering the ampule. To prevent this, be sure to hold the ampule upside down so the tip is under the water as the ampule fills and cap the ampule with the rubber stopper while the ampule is still upside down and under water. No air bubbles should be seen in the ampule. Air bubbles will cause results to be high and can lead to reproducibility problems.
