Summary
Testing for free dissolved copper
Answer
To test for free (uncomplexed) copper, use the Free Copper Reagent Powder Pillows, 25 mL, pk/100 (Product # 2118669). Free copper is defined as dissolved copper ions that are not complexed to EDTA or other strong complexing agents.  Instructions for this modification are listed in copper Method 8506/8026
