Each nitrogen, ammonia method contains an accuracy check section. This section makes recommendations on how to use a primary standard solutions to confirm the accuracy of the ammonia results. The standard additions method is helpful to test the sample for interfering substances. The standard solutions method uses the standard solution in place of the sample.
